Semaglutide Palm Beach

Semaglutide, how does it work?

Semaglutide, the generic form of Wegovy© and Ozempic©, is a peptide that requires subcutaneous injection once a week. The dosage starts low and gradually increases over 16 weeks to reach the maximum dose used for weight loss. It functions by reversing many of the abnormalities that contribute to obesity-promoting metabolism. These actions include extending the time food remains in the stomach, leading to a quicker feeling of fullness and a reduction in overeating. Optimized insulin secretion facilitates the conversion of sugar into energy within cells, limiting fat storage. Moreover, Semaglutide imitates a hormone that targets specific brain areas to decrease appetite. As weight decreases, various other health parameters also improve.

Am I a candidate?

Individuals eligible for Semaglutide have an initial BMI of 30 or higher, or a BMI over 27 coupled with at least one weight-related condition such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or type II diabetes. Men with 25% body fat and women with 30% body fat are also eligible.* Those who have not succeeded with other weight loss methods or appetite suppressants might be ideal candidates for Semaglutide.

Is Semaglutide FDA-approved?

In June 2021, the FDA granted approval to Semaglutide for chronic obesity treatment, in addition to its existing approval for treating Type II diabetes. Potential significant side effects encompass nausea, diarrhea or constipation, cramps, and bloating. These effects can be mitigated by gradually adjusting the dosage over the 16-week period mentioned earlier.*

Our

Weight Loss

Program

Our program comprises an initial evaluation, consultation on lifestyle changes, and basic lab work. Supplements are included in the package at a cost of $500.

Generic Semaglutide is priced at $500 per vial, covering a treatment duration of 4-6 weeks. Regular follow-ups every 3 months are essential for monitoring progress, repeating lab work, and refilling prescriptions. If Semaglutide is deemed unsuitable for you after the initial consultation, $100 can be transferred to our other services.

Does Insurance Cover This? While insurance might cover Semaglutide for diabetics, it's typically classified as a high-tier drug and can cost over $1000 per month. Unfortunately, insurance usually does not cover it for obesity alone. Why wait until you're seriously ill, with irreversible damage, to take action?
